Solar Puffin was founded in 2011 by a team of electrical engineers and licensed contractors who saw how much clean energy potential New Jersey had — and how few companies were doing it right.
We started with residential rooftop installations in Essex County and grew by doing the work properly — designing systems that genuinely outperform their production estimates, and standing behind every install with real warranties and real support.
Today, Solar Puffin operates across all 21 New Jersey counties, serving homeowners, school districts, farms, warehouses, and municipalities. Every system is designed in-house, installed by our own crews, and monitored by our team for the life of the equipment.
